Description

Chainlink Crypto ICO Description

Everything you must know about Chainlink (LINK) before you invest in this amazing crypto in 2021

Chainlink is a decentralized oracle network that is built on Ethereum developed to combine off-chain data sources with on-chain smart contracts. LINK acts as the utility token for the Chainlink network which carry out as a trust-minimized midway solution to the “oracle problem” by giving trustworthy tinker-proof inputs and outputs for convoluted smart contracts on any digital currency. The LINK project intends to become the platform for interacting with many other off-chain services like payment gateways for different usage that includes financial data, financial agreements, insurance, and many others. In this way, it links the legacy world with a new world of digital currencies or blockchains.

Strengths of Chainlink

  • Clear serviceableness, use case, and adoption

Chainlink provide a new solution to the “Oracle Problem,” by crafting an encrypted, private bridge between digital currencies and off-chain data feeds.

  • First-mover benefit and huge network effects

Chainlink has an established partnership with SWIFT and other digital currencies like Binance, Celer, Polkadot, etc., and have a long list of collaborations.

  • Expansive addressable market

Possibilities generally include a number of industries like finance, insurance, legal, gambling, payments, and many others that are designed of off-chain data that may be integrated onto a blockchain.

  • Advantages from the growth of the digital currency industry as a whole

As smart contracting technology infiltrate legacy systems, Chainlink and LINK gains immensely from this adoption.

Weaknesses of Chainlink

  • Nearly 60 percent of the total supplies are not freely traded currently on the market and are under the governance of the parent company.
  • There are no unambiguous guidelines or regulations regarding the supply distribution reserved for the development of the project and oracle incentive.
  • Oracle network is still quite restricted and could be further decentralized easily.

Use Case

“Oracles” can be understood as the link on which on-chain smart contracts approach, fetch, and validate data that is sourced from  outside a blockchain. Chainlink paves the path forward for the solution to the “oracle problem” by interlinking varied blockchains to the off-chain world while enabling a tinker-proof inputs and outputs.

The basic use case is delivering a secure third-party data through its encrypted middleware solution without meddling with the consensus of blockchain. Chainlink is a highly encrypted and highly flexible oracle networks combining the data of a legacy world and real-world to blockchains. It is majorly used in these sectors:

  • Tech
  • Business
  • Administration

ChainLink is a blockchain-base middleware, acting as a bridge between cryptocurrency smart contracts and off-chain resources like data feeds, various web APIs, and traditional bank account payments. This way, ChainLink allows Smart Contracts to communicate with external resources on their own. LINK is an ERC20 token based on the Ethereum Blockchain. It is used to pay ChainLink Node operators for the retrieval of data from off-chain data feeds, formatting of data into blockchain readable formats, off-chain computation, and uptime guarantees they provide as operators.

Team:
