Ripple (XRP) President Responds to Renewed Rumors

Ripple, the company behind XRP, has confirmed that it has no plans to go public in 2025. Speaking in an interview with CNBC, Ripple President Monica Long stated that an initial public offering (IPO) is not currently part of the company’s roadmap. Long highlighted Ripple’s strong financial situation, noting that the company has billions of dollars in cash reserves. “We are in a position where we don’t need to raise capital or seek additional visibility,” Long said, addressing years of speculation about Ripple’s potential IPO. Long added that the company has taken steps to strengthen its financials, including a share buyback earlier this year at a valuation of $11.3 billion, down from its $15 billion valuation in 2022.
